Man's Body Found Near I-280 Ramp In Newark

A man's body was found Friday morning on Route 280 in Newark, authorities said.

The discovery was made on the eastbound side near Broad Street, Essex County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Thomas Fennelly said.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at 9:51 a.m.

New Jersey State Police was assisting in the investigation.
